Randomly saw the Detroit band Noman last night. Although it's not my usual style, their show rocked. They bring the kind of raw energy that rock has seemed to lack since the mid-'90s. It's no coincidence that there album was recorded by Steve Albini, who worked on projects for Nirvana, The Pixies, and Bush, among others.
