The bottom line is that getting older just isn't fun any more...unless it's ironic. Yes, I do believe that I've discovered the key to aging gracefully: simply convince yourself that each new year represents a striking incongruity between what might be expected and what has actually occurred. Hence the Hot Chip video - if these guys can't get you feeling ironic, I don't know who can. OK, so it's not quite as good as the original (see below), but that's a tall order. Shout out to Teddy Pain.
