When I caught this track randomly on KCRW (don't judge me), I knew immediately what I had to do. The featured cut from St. Louis-based R&B duo TeLuv, "Alright" features a slow, almost Screwed backbeat, with Timba/JT synth flourishes, Neptunes snares, and Kanye tom fills. They threw the kitchen sink at this one, and scored a direct hit. I like it a lot.
